Chances are, this also brings in bug fixes as well, though we won’t know for sure until Shift Up releases the changelog. It seems the recently announced Nier Automata crossover isn’t included in the patch, though that’s set to be released soon.
Aside from Stellar Blade, other first-party games like The Last of Us 2 Remastered recently got a PS5 Pro patch as well, and even third-party titles like Alan Wake 2 have gotten it recently. Expect more PS5 games (especially first-party titles) to get a PS5 Pro to take advantage of the upcoming console’s added horsepower.
Based on the info revealed so far, the roadmap leak a few months ago seem to be the real deal. Once the official patch notes are out, we’ll update the article with the info, so stay tuned.
