Dying Light 2 New Update on November 24 Released as Patch 1.85/1.085
Techland has released a new Dying Light 2 update on November 24 on all platforms. This is a minor update and should be a small download across consoles and PC.
For those playing on consoles, this download will appear as Dying Light 2 update 1.85/1.085 (complete version 1.085.000)< and this doesn’t add new content based on what’s known, but more so for bug fixes and other minor tweaks.
Don’t be surprised if this patch also removes the Halloween Showdown event introduced last month.
Dying Light 2 Update 1.85/1.085 Implements Gameplay Changes
Oddly enough, Techland hasn’t released any official patch notes, which is unsual for the studio. Thankfully, we still have a good idea on what got changed thanks to the community.
Over on Steam, the game’s files state the following changes (via XeRnUno):
• Bone Smasher Blueprint fixed. Was upgradable only up to Unique rarity
• Set correct value for Head damage multiplyer for Toxic Throwing Knifes in Tower Raid
• corrected description for the “Ubersaber”
• added a new loot object in Tower Raid (Suicider Head)
• disabled three temporary Tower Raid Characters
• changed and disabled store ID for the Welcome SMG
It’s also mentioned that game files pertaining to common_texture have also been touched, which likely means changes to meshes, textures.
Hopefully, we get a proper changelog within the day, and once we do, we’ll update the article to reflect it.
The latest Dying Light game also saw an update a few days ago, and this was also a minor update.
