Stellar Blade PC Release

Released earlier this year as a PS5 exclusive, Shift Up’s Stellar Blade PC release looks to be eyeing 2025, with the studio expecting it to perform even better in sales than it did on consoles.

Note that we reported on the action game being in development for PC before, but this is the first time the studio gave a release window for it.

Stellar Blade PC Release Targets 2025, But No Firm Date Just Yet

As revealed in the Q&A section of their Q3 earning sheets, it looks like PC gamers will be able to enjoy Shift Up’s debut title, Stellar Blade, sometime in 2025. Though they haven’t exactly said what part of next year they are aiming for, they did say that they fully expect sales on the platform to exceed even those of the PS5 version despite coming out later. This is partly due to seeing how successful Wukong Black Myth was when it was released, which Shift Up is fully expecting similar results once it releases on Steam worldwide.

“The release is being considered within 2025.” A Shift Up rep said in the earning sheets, ” Considering recent trends such as Steam’s expanding market share in the AAA game sector and the global success of , we expect the performance on PC to exceed that on consoles.”

Though the title already looks and runs beautifully on the PS5, especially with the recently released PS5 Pro patch, a PC release is expected to bring in several new improvements and an array of graphical options, and likely support for other upscale, such as DLSS. All that will be revealed at a later date, and seeing that they don’t have anything firm to share, we’d wager we won’t see Stellar Blade on PC until the second half of 2025.

Stellar Blade is now available on the PS5 and PS5 Pro. New content and features will arrive on November 20 with the Nier collaboration update
