Like A Dragon Developers Announces Project Century With Gameplay Reveal

Virtua Fighter isn’t the only surprise announcement that Like A Dragon developers, Ryu Ga Gotoku had for us during The Game Awards, as they’ve just revealed a brand-new IP, Project Century.

A Much Gorier Yakuza/Like A Dragon Game Set In The 1915

Based on the gameplay, Ryu Ga Gotoku is going for a far grittier, bloodier, and gorier brawler than we’ve seen in their past Yakuza and Like A Dragon games. Not much else is known beyond the footage. However, we have a feeling we’ll probably be exploring the origins of the Yakuzas as the period saw the formation of the Yamaguchi-Gumi, one of the largest conglomerates of that time.

Hopefully, we’ll have more details on Project Century, which we assume isn’t the official title.
