Fallout 76 Down on February 9

Bethesda has taken the Fallout 76 servers down on September 23 on all platforms, and this is to apply a new update to the game. If you can’t log in or are wondering whether it’s your connection, it’s not.

Read on for the schedule, as well as for some of the issues we are hoping gets tackled by today’s patch.

Given we just got the big CAMP Revamp patch a few weeks ago, I’m not expecting anything major, but I would love to be proven wrong by Bethesda.

Fallout 76 Servers Offline for a Few Hours on Sept. 23

Update: Here is the complete list of changes made in today’s minor update.

The server downtime starts at 10 am ET/7 am PT/10 pm HKT, and while there’s no specific time on when it’ll go back up, we’re expecting it to last for at least 3-4 hours, which means servers should be operational again around 1 pm ET/10 am PT/1 am HKT.

There is a chance it goes up sooner, but don’t be surprised if it takes a while.

The official patch notes aren’t live yet, but some of the fixes and adjustments we’re hoping for include:

  • Turret buffs
  • Build mode bug where if a player puts something down, it goes into the ground and get stuck.
  • Stat lock bug fix
  • VATS fix (LOL!)
  • Perk cards not working as intended
  • Crashing issues on PS5

Once the patch notes are up, we’ll provide a link to it from this article for easy access.

If there are any changes to the maintenance period or if it takes longer than usual, we’ll be sure to let our readers know.

Stat Lock bug is not real. It cannot hurt you.

Seriously, it’s only a visual bug in your Effects tab and floating damage numbers. Visit Angry Turtle’s YouTube channel for an update.
