Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 Season 1 Content Revealed
Call of Duty fans who are expecting big things from Season 1 of Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 will be happy to learn that the studio isn’t planning to disappoint. Marked as the Black Ops series’ biggest Season 1 launch, fans can expect new maps, modes, and zombie experiences throughout the game’s first season.

Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 Season 1 is Loaded With Content
Revealed during a new dev talk video posted on X (formerly Twitter), here’s your first look at what’s coming in Season 1 for Black Ops 7.
- 7 signature 6v6 maps
- 7 new & fan-favorite weapons (Maddox!)
- 3 Zombies maps
- S01 remasters confirmed
- MP modes sneak preview
- Additional Zombies content + new Augments
- Holiday LTMs & Events
- Nuketown 2025 drops Nov. 20
- + much more to come!
At launch, there will be a total of 18 multiplayer maps to play through, with Nuketown 2025 dropping a week after, then followed by the release of Season 1 shortly after. As with past Call of Duty seasons, you can expect new maps, weapons, and modes, some of which have been detailed above, along with some new seasonal events, Battle Passes, cosmetics, and much more.
This is but a sneak peek into the season, so expect a deeper dive once we get closer to release. But so far, things are looking pretty good for the first Season of Black Ops 7. Let’s hope Treyarch can keep the momentum going, though. Based on the dev talk video, which confirmed changes to some maps based on beta feedback, we think this year’s release is already shaping up to be one of the best Call of Duty releases in years. That’s on top of minimal SBMM, an improved anti-cheat system, and changes to some perks already confirmed over the past weeks.
It won’t be long before we all get to try it out again, as Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 officially launches on November 14, for PlayStation, Xbox, and PC.
