Ark Survival Evolved May 4 Update Released for Space Dolphin Fix

Studio Wildcard has rolled out the Ark Surival Evolved May 4 update on all platforms today (except for the Nintendo Switch version), and it’s for a specific fix. This is a server-side patch, and no download is needed for it to take effect. Read on for the Ark Survival Evolved new patch notes.

Ark Survival Evolved May 4 Update Patch Notes:

v946.6 – 05/04/2022 – Minor version for servers

• Fixed an issue that prevented Space Dolphin lasers from causing damage in specific missions

That’s about it for this server-side update. In case you didn’t know, there was also a server update released last week (April 29) that included the following changes:

Astrodelphis Balance Pass

Roll damage to players and tames reduced by 20%
Laser damage to players reduced by 20%
Increased EMP/Chaff radius by 33%
Reduced EMP/Chaff cooldown from 5 to 4 seconds
Prevented laser damage scaling versus structures
Lasers no longer damage turrets
Turning on saddle/Starfighter mode now requires saddle engram

Miscellaneous

Fixed various exploits
