The Arc Raiders playtest is ending later today, and while the test itself was by invite only, it seems the title has already managed to pull off some impressive feats. as revealed by some playtest stats.

However, players aren’t the only ones pulling in numbers, as it seems that one of the game’s most formidible enemies, the Queen, is obliterating raiders by the thousands.

The Rust Belt Is Proving to be a Much More Dangerous Place Than Players Anticipated

With the Arc Raiders playtest ending soon, developers Embark Studios has decided to share a bit of information around the playtest. Specifically, “fun facts” in the form of player statistics that have revealed some, well, fun facts, about achievements pulled off during the limited closed playtest.

As seen in the image above, here’s a breakdown of what players have done:

  • Arc Enemies Destroyed – 7 Million
  • Raiders Who Upgraded Scrappy to Max Level – 1
  • Rounds Played – 4 Million, which equates to more than 1.7 million hours played.
  • Queens Defeated – 58, with the Queen killing 17,000 Raiders.

It’s pretty impressive for a closed test, but looking at the Queen, a giant, almost spider-like machine capable of firing a massive laser and other things, it seems that players are having quite a challenge beating it, as only 58 of them have been defeated over the three-day playtest.

To put this into perspective, based on the stats given here, it means that 1 in every 68,965 rounds a player has managed to kill a Queen, with her kill/death ratio nearly 300. Holy moly, though we can’t say we’re surprised, as when we attempted to defeat it ourselves, it didn’t go too well.

It’s going to be interesting to see how the Queen stacks up once the game releases, though at the moment, Arc Raiders has no release date.
